We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team.
This position will provide you with an exciting opportunity to showcase your technical skills, problem-solving abilities and your knowledge of the engineering industry.
You will have the chance to work on a variety of projects, creating innovative, robust and sustainable designs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Structural Engineering, with a focus on foundation design, and will be comfortable using a variety of software tools such as AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Structural Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
1.
Developing detailed designs for structural engineering projects using AutoCAD, Bluebeam and other relevant software.
2.
Ensuring all designs are in compliance with TIA 222 and other relevant industry standards.
3.
Collaborating with project teams to collect data, interpret designs, and implement changes.
4.
Conducting site visits to monitor the progress of projects and ensure that construction is in accordance with design specifications.
5.
Performing foundation design and analysis, including calculations for loads and stresses.
6.
Preparing and presenting detailed reports on the progress and completion of projects.
7.
Providing technical advice to project team members and stakeholders.
8.
Identifying potential design improvements and efficiency enhancements.
9.
Managing and mentoring junior engineers and other team members.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting role, you will need:
1.
A Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
A Master's degree is preferred.
2.
At least 3 years of experience in the field of Structural Engineering.
3.
Registered SE (Structural Engineer) certification.
4.
Proficiency in using AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and other relevant software.
5.
Experience with TIA 222 and other industry standards.
6.
Strong knowledge of foundation design principles and practices.
7.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
8.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
9.
The ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects.
10.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry advancements.
