Responsibilities for Dental Assistant Greet all patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming smile.
Provide exceptional customer service care.
Take and document patient dental history and updates, as well as overall health and medication history.
Prepare and Set-up operatories.
Assist the dentist in various dental procedures.
Exams Filling Extractions Crowns Root Canals Implants Dentures Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
Take quality digital dental radiographs.
Perform lab work such as night guards, custom bleach trays, essix retainers.
Order supplies Eager to grow and develop new skills as we often promote from within! Qualifications for Dental Assistant High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Current CPR certification (Preferred) Dental Assisting:
6 months - 1 year (Preferred) Software:
Open Dental Experience (Preferred, not required) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to follow outlined policies and guidelines.
Possess a professional, positive and team attitude.
