The HR Coordinator position is a key role and will be primarily responsible for leading the hiring and training of all personnel within the company.
In addition, this position will be responsible for maintaining all records related to personnel and company equipment, while ensuring information is accurate and up to date at all times.
Key duties in relation to these responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Creating and maintaining job postings for several positions throughout the company Screening candidates to ensure applications meet set criteria and job requirements Scheduling and participating in interviews in a variety of styles (i.
e.
in-person, phone, zoom, etc) Conducting reference and background checks Scheduling drug testing and coordinating motor vehicle insurance compliance when necessary Preparing, updating, and processing all hiring paperwork Initiating and/or working with other team members to create and maintain training schedules Maintaining a variety of internal and external files such as:
Personnel files, performance reports/evaluations, incentive programs, DOTs, employee rosters, vehicle insurance/registration and inspections The ideal candidate for this position will be:
Reliable Detail oriented A team player but able to work independently Trustworthy Able to maintain confidentiality Able to meet deadlines Able to multitask Knowledgeable in legal hiring practices Knowledgeable in local, state, and federal regulations as they pertain to hiring and commercial driving Experienced in some aspect of the hiring process and hiring platforms such as Indeed, Zip Recruiter, etc.
Experienced in basic office programs and equipment Willing to perform other duties as assigned While experience is preferred, Rent A Can is willing to train the right candidate.
This is a full-time, year-round position working out of our office in Eagle River.
Candidates must be able to work a shift between the hours of 7:
00am and 6:
00pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional schedule deviations.
This position offers medical, dental, 401k with company match, and paid time off after probationary periods are met.
