Summary:

We are recruiting for a Student Success Coordinator to support our Acceleration Academy components.
In this role you will coordinate with university academic departments and school district staff regarding student course information and high school graduation requirements and assist our directors with special projects and events.
Duties:
10% Departmental Duties Maintain student databases Maintain inventory of supplies related to student success Establish performance outcomes for programs May assume a leadership role with regard to specific programming and services related to student success Collect and analyze data to create strategic plans Design, administer and analyze satisfaction and needs surveys Design, implement and assess retention programs and surveys based on documented needs and create strategic plans based on assessments Review ANSEP policies and procedures and recommend changes as warranted Interpret and apply ANSEP policies and procedures as appropriate At the direction of the Directors, oversee mailings to applicants/families, acceptance letters, and other communication Other tasks as assigned Essential 20% Program Promotion and Outreach Assist ANSEP Directors with special projects and events Identify and use appropriate digital, print, audio, and video media tools and resources to create appealing and relevant materials for carrying out established plans At the direction of ANSEP Directors perform recruitment and outreach activities in a team effort for ANSEP student recruitment Essential 35% Academic Advising Coordinate with university academic departments and school district staff regarding student course information and high school graduation requirements Interact with academic departments regarding students, curriculum, degree information, academic information and deadlines Assist students with the registration processes Adhere to FERPA regulations and confidentiality procedures Advise students and the public in a variety of areas, including:
University, campus, and department requirements, policies and procedures; sources and processes for obtaining financial aid; job opportunities and job search techniques; and study abroad and exchange opportunities Provide prospective and current students information on ANSEP application processes, university admission procedures and policies, and course offerings Answer correspondence regarding ANSEP and University requirements Refer students to appropriate service centers to meet needs such as financial aid, tutorial support, testing services, academic advisors, and other support services Essential 35% Support Services Assist students and alumni in preparing resumes, job applications, and reference letters and in job search techniques Conduct mock interviews and provide constructive feedback to students Interpret tests and assessment tools to determine students interest or aptitudes Work with students in residential units in the areas of community development, conflict resolution, and crisis management Respond to individual or group misconduct personally or in conjunction with the appropriate office, or assist other staff in dealing with student behavioral problems Work with student residents individually or in groups to help create and maintain a positive living environment Create and deliver trainings or presentations on specialized area of student service knowledge Plan, organize, and direct a variety of programs promoting student success, cultural diversity, cultural transition and/or retention Plan, organize, and deliver programs related to orientation, college transition and introduction to the respective campus Plan, design, deliver, and assess programs promoting social/recreational student activities and/or co-curricular activities Mediate and resolve student conflicts Advise, lead and motivate groups of student leaders Design, implement, lead and assess programs promoting community development Participate in the development of educational programming in order to meet students needs and interests Provide clear and accurate information regarding institutional policies, procedures, resources, and programs Support students in need of petitions and appeals for financial aid and academic purposes As a responsible employee under Title IX, comply with UA reporting procedures as applicable and remain current with annual training Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Required Experience & Education:
Associates degree and one year relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Bachelors degree preferred.
Salary Information:
This is a full-time, 12-month, term-funded, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary andfull employee benefits package ( https:
