Description:
General laborers in Alaska mines Location:
Anchorage, AK Pay:
$20(DOE), Assignment and Certifications
Summary:
AKHIRE is currently recruiting a crew of General Laborers, preferably with some mine experience.
We work on immovable machinery like crushers and conveyors at mine sites.
We go out on contracts that we receive within the state of Alaska.
These jobs come with some travel, food and lodging while you are on site at the mine.
Most jobs will require overtime work, which will add to your average hourly pay.
This assignment is due to last for 3 months, (2-weeks on & 2-weeks off) some employees may be added as long-term placements.
One year of General labor experience on non- movable machinery or two years of welding and fabrication experience required to be considered for the position.
MSHA certification is required of all workers, skill set certification (may vary from job to job) related to the job you are hired to perform.
We are ideally looking for workers that already have MSHA training and certification, if you had an MSHA certification and it has expired you will need to take the refresher course online before starting the job (we will pay for the refresher course).
You must pass a drug test and full background check before we can place you at the mines.
